President-Elect: Christopher Zingaro, ABMM Financial

The NTSA Officers are industry volunteers with busy career and family leadership roles. Their work together is characterized by camaraderie, collaboration and connectivity, even though each officer has specific functions.

NTSA President Darlene Flagg’s term will begin Jan. 1, 2021. She will chair the NTSA Management Council (MC), as well as the NTSA Leadership Council (LC), one of the three operating aspects of NTSA (which also is led by the NTSA Strategic Partner Council and the NTSA Government Affairs Committee). Darlene will be an ex officio member of all LC standing committees and ad hoc project task forces and engage directly in all facets of the organization’s mission throughout the year—from advocacy to conference planning, from the Bob D. Schiller lifetime achievement award determination to budgeting and more. As President, Darlene will assure that all the basic Purpose and Organization Committee plans are fulfilled, in addition to the President’s special initiatives for the year. She also will direct and participate actively in the Governance Standing Committee activities.

After a strong, steady 2020 at the helm, Jim Kelleher will be the Immediate Past President bringing experience and tradition throughout the year, guiding and advising the officers and the LC. In that role, Jim will chair the Nominating Committee. For 2021, Jim also continues as the Chair of the NTSA Business Intelligence (Research and Special Projects) Committee.

As President-Elect, Chris Zingaro will serve next in line to the President and will facilitate the transition between the current year and the next year through leadership as a member of the NTSA MC, as well as ex officio membership on all standing committees and ad hoc project task forces. In these roles, Chris will chair the Governance Committee of the NTSA LC and is responsible for strategic and tactical planning, operating policies and procedures, and purpose and organizational statements of all committees, at the behest of the President. In addition, Chris will be the Co-Chair of the 2022 NTSA Summit.

New to the MC will be the Vice President, Philip Kim, who will present the NTSA Standing Committees’ and Projects’ tactical plans and reports, working at the behest of the President. For 2021, Phil also continues as Co-Chair of the NTSA CRES special project.

Join us in congratulating Darlene, Jim, Chris and Phil.

As NTSA members, let’s pledge our support and say yes when they ask us to step up to make our organization thrive further.

Kristine J. Coffey, CPC, CPFA, CRES is NTSA 2020 Immediate Past President.
