Joyce LaRosa Announces Retirement, Realignments Take Effect October 1st

It has been said that “All Good Things Must Come to an End” and with that, I want to congratulate Joyce LaRosa on her well-deserved retirement in December.

Joyce has left her mark in numerous areas in her 34 years with us: FMG, Protection & Retirement, BIG, and finally DIG. After many successful years in the finance area, Joyce ultimately joined the team that brought Independent Distribution from a start-up to a major distribution channel.  Her passion for people, highlighted by her involvement in our intern program and WIN, will long be remembered.

Joyce looks forward to spending more time with her husband John, her two grandchildren Kaiulani (age 12) and Giovanni (age 5), her three sons Anthony, Joshua and Luke, and their wives, Cassie, Lynne and Laura. She is also excited about her new partnership with The Cheshire Cat boutique on Elm Street in Montpelier.

Please join me in congratulating Joyce on reaching this milestone and wishing her well in retirement.

I am also excited to announce the next iteration of our Field Services Team, which combines both Distribution Finance and Field Services, under the leadership of Tim Ryder. In late 2019, when we brought Field Services into Distribution, we began to reimagine the support model for our field with a seamless service model from start to finish. In continuation of developing a more unified level of service, we are realigning our teams around the unique services they provide to the organization.

Ryan Austin will lead the Affiliated Team, which will include the commissions and contracting and licensing teams as well as the existing finance teams.

Kara Leclerc will lead the Independent Finance Team, which includes all things related to our Independent Distribution Finance from commissions, asset recovery, field leader compensation, agency contracts and incentive reporting.

Nate Dunbar will be taking on a new leadership role that will include Sales Reporting and Analysis, spending preparation and financial analysis for all of DIG. This team will work closely with our selling customers to provide the metrics and analysis to build the business.

In response to the continued record growth in recruiting, Steve Turner will join Margaret Fawcett and Tyler Morway to lead one of our fastest growing areas of Independent Licensing and Contracting as they lead us into our next phase of growth and efficiency.

The Business Solutions Team led by Amanda Atwood will continue to help develop solutions to the field as they look at efficiencies across the organization in order to support the seamless approach brought to field services.

Please join me in congratulating everyone in Field Services.

Realignments are effective October 1st.
