“If water has passed in one river, that river will have that water again”

The issues that women face in Afghanistan are man-made and are reversible. That was the message from Ambassador Adela Raz, the keynote speaker and a panelist at Thursday’s International Women’s Day event, “The Importance and Impact of Women at the Forefront of Change.” Raz, who served as the last Ambassador of Afghanistan to the U.S., shared the Afghani saying about the river as inspiration.

Foundation Board Welcomes Special Guest

On March 1, the National Life Group Foundation board convened for its quarterly meeting on the Vermont campus. To kick off the meeting, Dr. Shella Dennery, PhD, LICSW, Director of the Boston Children’s Hospital Neighborhood Partnerships Program (BCHNP), was introduced and presented to the board members and officers about current data on children’s mental health as well as proposed solutions to address it.

GA Winter Meeting Celebrates Years of Service
