Tonya Hernandez Promoted to Payment Center Team Manager

Our six-word mantra in the Payment Center is:  Money In – Money out…NO DOUBT!  The way we achieve our mission of winning with service starts with the investment we make with our people. In that spirit, I am excited to announce the promotion of Tonya Hernandez to Team Manager over the Outbound Payment Center team here in Texas.

Tonya has over 19 years of experience in the Life and Annuity industry. She came to us from Dearborn National where she had roles that ranged from Policy Administration Analysis to New Business supervision and Contact Center training.

Tonya joined National Life Group in 2012 and quickly rose to the challenge of streamlining, automating, and building a customer-centric tax area.  She then moved to become the Team Lead in the Outbound Payment Center focused on shaping a team of high professional annuity practitioners. Tonya most recently has been serving as the Interim leader of the Outbound Payment Center and has been a critical contributor to providing phone support to our Customer Experience Center. With Tonya’s departure, one of her first responsibilities will be to replace the Team Lead role she just vacated.
