Your Teen Can Live The Rockstar Fantasy While Doing GOOD

The excitement is building as we count down to Do Good Fest on July 16th. So far, nearly 3000 tickets have been sold with donations totaling over $17,000 with proceeds benefiting Branches of Hope. New to this year’s event will be a high school music competition called Beats For Good. Beats is open to current Vermont high school students, their classmates, and musical acts of all sizes and genres. It’s America’s Got Talent, with a Vermont twist.

We’ve received submissions from Mt. Abraham Union High School, a collaboration from three Northeast Kingdom Schools: Danville High School, St. Johnsbury Academy and Lyndon Institute, and a solo homeschooled artist. The talent these students have is simply incredible.

Do you know a high school student (public, private, charter or homeschooled) between the ages of 13 and 19 who is a talented musician? Encourage them to enter! They can be part of a band, chorus, choir or a solo act, and this is the best part: the winner will open Do Good Fest, get exclusive backstage access, and receive a $5,000 donation to their school’s music program. WOW! The deadline for submissions is Sunday, May 15th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST.

Details are available on DoGoodFest.com.
