Volunteering Fills the Shelves and Your Heart

With so much excitement on the VT campus last week, it was a wonderful opportunity for Field Leaders to come to town, connect with their teammates and enjoy the festivities. Some also took advantage of this time to volunteer at the Do Good Cupboard in Montpelier.

The Do Good Cupboard is in front of the Montpelier Senior Activity Center on Barre Street. The Cupboard is intended to offer basic items to those in the community. It does not replace food shelves but can help those who might need items like nonperishable food or toiletries on short notice.

David Yu, Jen Warfield, Leiying Jiang, and Jay Dunlap helped organize donations and restock the cupboards shelves.

We are also on the lookout for additional volunteers to keep those shelves stocked. If you would like to join the volunteer list for this or numerous other volunteering opportunities, please contact Jess Russo at JRusso@nationallife.com for more information. The gift of your time is much appreciated.
