Vermont Fitness Class Focus – Engergizer/Stretch and Tone

Each month the LIFE Committee will provide you information about one or more of the free classes available to Vermont campus gym members.  December’s focus is on the two classes taught by our own Kathy Franklin.

These are available each week for free to Vermont gym members:

  • The Energizer (Wednesday, 12 – 12:30 pm ET, in the aerobic studio): Recharge for that afternoon stretch.  This class will offer low impact aerobics and coordination movements ending with a stretch and cool-down segment.  Designed for the beginner to intermediate level, you can add weights to increase the intensity at your discretion.
  • Stretch & Tone (Monday, 12 – 12:30 pm ET, in the aerobic studio): This class consists of a warm-up for 5-7 minutes, 15-20 minutes of toning exercises for the upper and lower body, and a stretch and cool-down for 5-7 minutes.  This class is geared towards the beginner to intermediate level.  You may optionally add weights to increase the effectiveness of your workout, or modify the exercises to your level of fitness.

Not a member?  It’s only $5 each pay period to join, and that also gives you access to the weights, treadmills and other gym equipment. The registration forms and process are on National Life Today under the LIFE Program box.
