The summer is a great time to get out and volunteer! Here are some opportunities in the community.
Veggie Van Go is in need of 1-2 volunteers for their distribution at Barre Town Elementary & Middle School on Tuesday, July 16th from 11:30-12:30. Sign up by emailing Kris at krisearle24@gmail.com.
Montpelier Alive’s July 3rd Independence Day Celebration needs volunteer photographers and videographers, parade marshalls, clean-up crew, set-up vendor contacts. Everyone’s talents can be put to great use! View opportunities and register here.
Good Beginnings needs help painting their entryway. This project is flexible; volunteers can do this, generally speaking, when the time works for them. Check it out here. (Ignore the date; it is very flexible.)
Meals on Wheels Drivers are needed in both Barre and Montpelier. There are generally set routes, but most programs have the flexibility to offer options to potential drivers that suit their schedule. These are great for folks who may work evenings or have a few hours free during the day.
