Stairway to your Heart Challenge

The heart, a universal symbol for love and affection, tends to pop up on every corner this time of year. Not just because of Valentine’s Day, but also because February is American Heart Month, a time that we join together to raise awareness about heart health.

Small steps towards creating a healthy lifestyle greatly reduces your chance of developing heart disease. And research shows that we’re more successful at meeting our health goals when joining forces with others.

So we’re challenging you to join the movement by participating in our Stairway To Your Heart Challenge.

Here are the specifics:

  • A flight of stairs is defined as “an uninterrupted series of stairs”, so stairs between each landing counts as a flight. That means there are two flights of stairs between each floor on the Vermont campus.
  • Going up AND down counts.
  • This challenge is specific to the VT campus only. TX – we’ll be planning a separate challenge for you…stay tuned for details.
