CEO Mehran Assadi recognized seven leaders for the work they’ve done over the past year during his annual leadership summit, conducted remotely this year.
The theme of the summit was performance, which was the focus during panel discussions, breakout sessions and the plenary meeting among all nearly 170 participants.
But the highlight was Mehran’s presentation of his annual 7Cs Awards (watch the 7Cs segment here).
The 7Cs stands for a list of attributes that he uses to judge his own performance at least once a week.
And for 11 years, he has presented an award representing each of the Cs. This year’s winners are:
Comprehension – Mario Russo of the IT Security team
Competency – Tamara Strauss of the Law Department
Confidence – Crystal Dermody Waldo of Life & Annuity Operations
Conviction – Xan Rousselle of the Independent Distribution team
Courage – Damian Woodard of the CIG Business Architect team
Communication – Morgan Gold of the Marketing team
Character – Darlene Flagg of the Retirement Plans team
