I am pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Meany to Director, Head of Data Governance.
Patrick began his career with us as an intern in 2012, and over the last 8 years has championed our data efforts across the enterprise in various roles in Distribution Finance, Operations, and currently within our Data Organization. Patrick played a big role in creating our current analytics platform that has taken National Life in the direction of being a data driven organization. Being passionate about data, Patrick has led a team of analysts partnering with many business areas to help foster a community of users across the enterprise that promote the value and usage of our data. As we grow our maturity in the world of Big Data, it remains imperative that we maintain controls and integrity in our metrics and analytics. Patrick’s wide range of experience with our data, as well as his relationships and credibility across our Data Community, IT and Business make him well suited for this new role.
