‘Tis the season to Do Good. And here’s another way to spread the good cheer.
Nominating an educator for the LifeChanger of the Year award anytime between now and the end of the year qualifies as part of the holiday campaign.
In addition to nominating a deserving school employee for this important recognition, you can also write them a personal holiday note thanking for what they do.
And now for the Do Good part. At the same time, the nominee gets a chance to designate one of five nonprofit groups to receive a donation from LifeChanger.
The program is donating $10 for every nominee during this holiday campaign. The organizations that are being supported are CODE.org; Kids in Need Foundation; National Coalition for Safe Schools; Pink Santa Hat Movement; and Questbridge.
A number of National Life employees have nominated LifeChangers.
Darryl Garland of the Brand Team, for example, nominated a teacher from the East Montpelier Elementary School.
Darryl joined Megan Hand, who recently left National Life to become an agent with the Vermont Agency, to pop-in to East Montpelier Elementary and surprise teacher Jillian Zeilenga with her nomination.
And there’s another surprise pop-in in Colchester today for an educator nominated by Emma Urbahn of the Travel and Conferences team. We won’t give away the details in advance of the surprise!
