National Life participated earlier this month in distributing schools supplies to students in the Houston Metropolitan area, which includes Houston ISD, Katy ISD, Fort Bend ISD, and Alief ISD.
Those are all independent school districts that are group clients of National Life Group.
Darlene Flagg, vice president for retirement business, helped with the distribution of the supplies.
National Life donated five Dell laptops and 26 Dell monitors to the Higher Dimension P.E.A.C.E. for the sole purpose of distribution to students in these school districts.
“We understand that school is going to be different this year, and ‘different’ can be complicated. We just want to help our kids and youth have a successful school year despite what’s happening in the world. And because of companies like National Life, we are making that a reality,” said Terrance R. Johnson, Youth Leader, Higher Dimension.
Doing Good in the communities we work in is the National Life way. This was just a small step toward helping the school districts we work in support the new norm.
