National Life Donates Computers To The Shidaa African Cultural Project

We recently told you about Heather Preis and her commitment to the Shidaa African Cultural Project. The project was started by Heather and her partner, Jordan, who came to the United States from Ghana, West Africa. The mission of Shidaa is to spread cultural awareness in Vermont schools and to provide much needed supplies to the people of Ghana.

They’re currently working with a school in the city of Kasoa, which is about an hour outside of the capital city of Accra. Last October, Heather and Jordan brought a small offering of books and soccer balls to the school, which has been struggling to provide educational resources to children of all ages.

This year they’ll be providing additional supplies to the students – toys, games, bicycles and computer equipment donated by National Life Group.

HERE IS THE PICTURE OF US WHEN WE PICKED UP THE COMPUTERS.  WE SENT THE CONTAINER ON ITS WAY YESTERDAY, SUNDAY. THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN! IT IS REALLY GOING TO MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN A LOT OF LIVES. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. I WILL BE SURE TO SEND ALONG SOME PICTURES WHEN WE ARE ABLE TO GET THEM SET UP AND DOING GOOD!  – HEATHER PREIS
