It’s Fri-YAY in the CEC: Promotions and New Bonus Program

“Thank you for calling National Life, how may I help you?” Simple words, but a powerful statement. Every day in the Customer Experience Center (CEC), our teammates handle nearly 4,000 calls from agents and policy holders and although the topics may be different, the common theme is always the same: World Class Customer Service! It’s not only what we do, it’s who we are. We make a difference in people’s lives. It is incredibly rewarding but is a huge responsibility and takes dedication, commitment, and a true desire to help. This is a team of bona fide Rockstars that delivers every day, call after call, interaction after interaction. The only caller that is more important to them is the next one!

Today marks a big day in the CEC. As a meritocracy-driven organization, National Life supports the growth and development of all our teammates. The CEC has a robust career lattice with clear expectations on how to advance not only in your current role, but because of the immense knowledge you’ll gain, you’ll become highly sought-after throughout the organization. Speaking of celebrating success, 2021 marked the launch of the first-of-its-kind Variable Compensation (VC) program in the CEC. We wanted to reward top performers throughout the year as opposed to our normal annual bonus paid in March. We’re so happy to report that most of our team received a VC payout for hitting high performance targets, and today Q1 and Q2 bonuses were paid out to those deserving individuals. The next round of VC payouts will occur in November for Q3, then again in early 2022 for Q4. We have even developed a program that allows teammates to recoup bonus monies not earned in previous quarters. We have set the bar high and many of our teammates continue to jump over it!
