Hispanic Heritage Month reminds us about the importance of bringing peace of mind to our growing multicultural customer community.
In fact, about 43% of our business is now in making promises to non-native English speakers, including Spanish, Mandarin and Korean speaking customers and agents. And just this year so far, our Customer Experience Center (CEC) Spanish team has taken upwards of 21,000 calls!

Silvia Alvarado
Senior Team Manager, has been with NLG since August 2018. Family is from Guatemala and have lived in Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Love to travel, and am a huge foodie.
Maury Preciado
I joined NLG in 2016 and have been with CEC since the start. I spent my early childhood in California and moved to Texas in 2005. My mother is from Honduras and father from Mexico, I love being a part of both cultures! One of my personal goals is to be fluent is American Sign Language.
Maria Diaz
CEC Team Lead, I’ve been with NLG since Aug 14 2017. I was born in Durango Mexico, I moved to TX when I was 8. I have a giant rabbit, 2 dogs and 3 cats and I love to eat.

CEC Team Lead, I was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. In my free time I like to spend time cooking, trying new recipes and playing board games.
Maribel Lopez
CEC REP III, with NLG as of 2018. Born in Nueva Rosita, Mexico raised in Texas. I enjoy being with family and traveling. Argentina here I come!!

CEC Rep II, with NLG for three years. I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and I enjoy going to music festivals all around the US.

CEC Rep II, I have been with NLG since Oct 2019. I was born in Hereford, TX and I like working on my yard and trying new restaurants.
Hector Pujol
CEC Rep II, skilled in Life and Annuities, been with NLG officially since March 2020. I was born and raised in Cuba but my favorite food is pizza.
Daisy Mendoza
CEC Rep II skilled in Life and Annuities and with NLG since November 2019. I was born in South Bend, IN and moved to Texas when I was 8 years old. I love all things sports, especially college football.

CEC Rep skilled in Life, I will be hitting my one year mark with NLG in November. I am from El Paso, TX but most of my family is from Chihuahua, Mexico. In my time off, I enjoy working out and spending time with my dog.

CEC Rep I. I’ve been with NLG for seven months now. I am Mexican-American; born and raised on the border in Laredo, Texas. I enjoy partaking in/watching martial arts and trying out different pizzerias.

CEC Rep I-I am from Dallas Texas and I have been with national life for 5 months. Fun fact? I have traveled all over the world and my favorite destination is Cancun, also I just got a pet chicken that lives with my mom at the moment.

CEC Rep I-I have been with NLG for 3 months and I am originally from Peru. Became a citizen on February of this year. I have parrots as pets and a dog. The birds are crazy loud when they want to be, and this usually happens if I talk on the phone because they think I am talking to them.
