From Meghan Meyer, AVP New Business Operations:
With our major transition into Resonant next year we need a resource to focus solely on vendor relations – managing connections with our two different technology platforms, the vendor relationship through our transition and most importantly making sure we are getting the most out of the services we are utilizing. Luckily for us we had the perfect candidate to manage through this seamlessly in Linda Santiago. Linda has over 20 years in the medical vendor space and will be broadening this experience with the additional responsibility of vendors leveraged on the New Business side of our business. Linda will be reporting directly to me but, will continue to have an extremely close working relationship with our underwriting R&D team.
Linda lives with her husband in East Montpelier and has two children. Emily who resides in Stowe and is an avid skier and mountain biker and Kolby who is attending UNH for psychology. Now that she is an empty nester and is no longer living at the hockey rink she is looking to get back into snow machining, doing some home makeover projects and enjoys “glamping” during the camping season with friends.
I am pleased to announce the promotion of Danielle Trepanier to Team Manager in New Business, reporting to me. Danielle joined National Life in 2012 as a temp employee focused on policy building. Before long, she became a full time employee supporting our rewrite work. Gaining valuable technical knowledge as she went, she has moved on to be a successful case manager and for the past 3+ years established herself as a go to resource across the department as a team lead on the PFA team and most recently working with Alliance and the Gilmore Team. Danielle runs regular relationship and performance calls with various agencies she supports, creating a great balance between the needs of the field, the department, and her team. Most recently Danielle co-led the onboarding and training initiative of a growing team of temps who have come on this year to support unprecedented volumes. Danielle resides in Williamstown with her husband, 2 little girls and their pup. She enjoys spending time with her family doing anything outdoors from camping to ice fishing.
Danielle will assume leadership of a newly formed team comprised of the amazing individuals on the current APS/Medical Team and FOD Team: Heather Loati, Subhashini Magesh, Yoriko Takahashi, Tracy Wells, Jerolyn Yekeh, David Gratton, Elizabeth Minnick and Melody Silverthorne. Bringing these two teams together will create a stronger alignment between the New Business and Underwriting teams and create new opportunities for cross training and collaboration which fuels efficiencies and innovation… all of which are critical as we continue the evolution to our future state business model.
Please join me in congratulating Danielle and Linda in their new roles.
