Are you interested in helping with Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice’s Foot Care Clinics? The schedule for October – December is below and the time commitment is between 2 – 4 hours depending on a person’s availability.

There are ways you can help our childhood hunger cause right now. Please consider signing up to volunteer to glean with us!

What is gleaning? It is the act of collecting leftover crops from farmers’ fields. Organizations like Community Harvest of Central Vermont use gleaned vegetables to feed our neighbors in need.

Scrag Mountain Music, an organization that National Life is proud to support, is seeking volunteers to assist them with their 10th anniversary season! They could use a few more people to round out their dedicated volunteer cohort.

Salvation Farms Vermont Commodity Program handles surplus produce from Vermont Farms and aggregates it into the charitable food system as well as some institutions in the state. The work there mainly consists of cleaning, quality inspecting, and packing as well as some minimal processing to turn surplus into frozen product.
