National Life teamed up with minor league baseball over the past week to help feed kids.

The company is a sponsor of the Vermont Lake Monsters team in Burlington.

All of minor league baseball’s season was canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

So the Lake Monsters worked with National Life to direct some of the sponsorship money toward a summer feeding program at the Burlington Boys & Girls Club.

A Lake Monsters truck pulled up to the Boys & Girls Club late last week with a food trailer and served up the lunchtime crowd.

It’s just one more of the ways, both large and small, that National Life is helping to tackle the cause of ending childhood hunger.
