There are no immediate plans to return to the Addison campus because Texas remains a hot spot for the Covid-19 pandemic.
“My primary focus is the health and well-being of our assoiates,” CEO Mehran Assadi said. “We are going to have a separate plan for Vermont versus Dallas. I’m going to take my time in bringing people back to (the Texas) office.”
The current plan is that the Addison campus is closed except for a very few essential workers who report to the office as needed.
Otherwise, all Texas-based employees will continue to work from home.
Cases of Covid in Vermont have slowed considerably, so the plan is different.
“In Vermont, our intent is to bring people back on July 20th on a voluntary basis,” Mehran said.
Details about how to volunteer are expected to be announced in coming days. The number of people in the Montpelier building will be limited so most people will continue to work remotely for now.
