Schedule of Events:
5:30 pm – The Great Walk Opens!
The 1-Mile route will take you through the Galatyn Woodland Preserve. Encourage everyone to walk as participation points will be counted. Stop at the start tent to pick up a token for each walker. You will drop your token off at the mid-way point. Companies will compete against their own division and be ranked based on total participants. You must be at the mid-point by 7:00 pm to receive participation points for your company.
6:00 pm – Welcome from Mayor Voelker
6:15 pm – Presentation of Colors and National Anthem
6:25 pm – Special Olympics Athlete Parade
6:45 pm – Lighting of the Torch
6:55 pm – Special Athlets Activity – Water Balloon Toss
7:00 pm – The Great Walk Closes
7:15 pm – The Executive Relay
7:45 pm – Awards Presentation
8:00 pm – Party Over…Get in the Game!
