Thank you for making such a big difference in our community by volunteering.
We’re roughly three-quarters of the way toward our goal of contributing 850 hours of volunteer time to nonprofits in Vermont and Texas during the month of May.
And with one week to go in this initiative, we’re confident we will get there!
Are you interested in donating some of your 40 hours of annual paid time to volunteer? Check out the list of what we’ve arranged for May right here.
There are still opportunities next week, including Meals on Wheels in Dallas, painting at the Waterbury Parks and Recreation Department, seeding and preparing beds at the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps in Richmond, and helping to transplant trees at the Intervale Society in Burlington.
And those are just the options that have been arranged specifically for this month. We have a few ongoing opportunities, as well, which can be found on the volunteer page at National Life Today.
Just as a reminder, please make sure to record your hours at the Volunteer Time Tracker on the front page of National Life today (and in UltiPro, if you track your hours there).
And if you have a chance, take some photos and send them to Ross Sneyd.
