They were primarily folks from the financial management group and they were holding a Texas-sized celebration of a new product they just launched.

FMG has been developing products in the specialized captive insurance market that help to generate capital for National Life’s core life insurance companies.

Because the latest is for Texas, it was named Longhorn.

And so the celebration theme was born. CFO Bob Cotton was presented with a stuffed longhorn head (think stuffed toy, by the way, not slain beast) to mount on his office wall. And Bob even provided a mechanical bull for people to take a shot at riding.
