Winter swept through the Texas campus this week with a holiday buffet luncheon.

Everyone who works in Addison was treated to a huge spread of holiday cheer at the Intercontinental Hotel adjacent to the campus.

CEO Mehran Assadi took the opportunity to thank everyone for their contributions to National Life’s success over the past year and to wish them and their families happy holidays.

As you can see here, he really got into the holiday spirit with quite an outfit.

The luncheon was advertised as a Winter Wonterland Buffet and included turkey and glazed ham, accompanied with pumpkin soup, salads, vegetables and mashed potatoes.

No feast is complete without dessert. The menu consisted of pumpkin pie, chocolate walnut tort, pecan pie and eggnog cheesecake.

Mehran wasn’t the only one to get into the holiday spirit. A photo booth was set up by the Spirit Committee again this year and, as you can see from the selection of photos, everyone had a great time.

The holidays arrive on the Vermont campus next week. The holiday luncheon in Montpelier is on Thursday.
