Our Share the Good campaign is underway! Two colleagues, Nicole Cook and Brian Murphy, tell us why they share the good…

“One of the organizations I support, the Bardmoor YMCA in Florida, has become a home away from home for my entire family.  With no family around us locally, the Y has become our second family.  My husband and I go there to work out and our kids play sports there, go to the Kid’s Zone, go to camp during the summer, and once a month participate in Kid’s Night Out. What I love most about the Y is that the people there know our family and truly care about us and the community we live in.  It was because of this I was so excited when I was given the opportunity to give back to an organization that I feel gives to us each and every day.  Through the Share the Good campaign I am able to double my donation to the Y and am making even more of an impact to an organization that I feel gives so much to us.  I am so thankful that National Life Group has given me this opportunity.”

“Facing cancer is hard. Having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder. Yet the American Cancer Society has a place where cancer patients and their caregivers can find help and hope when home is far away.  One such place is the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Burlington, Vermont. My wife Amber and I have witnessed first hand the hardship cancer can bring to a family and the added difficulty of needing to seek treatment far away from home and family.  We are very appreciative of  the assistance that the Hope Lodge provides to patients during cancer treatment and to the National Life Group Foundation’s match to our gift that helps us pay it forward.”
