Our Share the Good campaign is going strong with over $120,000 raised. “Sixteen little feet greet me every night when I get home from work. They are the feet of our four rescue chihuahuas. My wife Karen and I have adopted many dogs over the past 20+ years from the Chittenden County Humane Society, the Central Vermont Humane Society and other shelters. We look for older, typically less adoptable dogs. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch their personalities come out as they find their place in our family.
Animal shelters do an amazing amount of good with a limited amount of money. There are many reasons why we support the Central Vermont Humane Society financially: to honor the values our parents installed, to help homeless animals find good homes, and because we believe these animals deserve a second chance at a happy life. The biggest reason we give is because of the joy the animals bring to us. Partnering with the National Life Group Foundation allows us to double the good we can do.”
