Our LifeChanger of the Year program has become a welcome forum for educators to discuss important issues around their profession.

And they’re getting another chance over the next few weeks as part of LifeChanger’s annual summer survey.

This year, LifeChanger is partnering with the National Coalition for Safe Schools, which National Life helped to found.

A primary focus of the survey is to learn the attitudes of teachers and other school employees about safety in their schools.

That is defined broadly, from physical safety to the emotional and social health of everyone in the school.

The subject of school safety was chosen this year in part because this fall’s Spotlight Award will go to someone who works on that issue. The Spotlight Award goes to someone working in a different discipline in the schools each year. Last year it went to school counselors.

LifeChanger will compile the results of this year’s survey later this summer and share them in a variety of ways with education leaders and with our own teams that spend so much time in the schools.

As has been done in the past few years, this year’s survey is also asking some questions about educators’ financial health, which is an important concern of National Life’s as it seeks to bring peace of mind to this important market.

The deadline for completing the survey is July 15th. So please be sure to share it with anyone who might be interested in this issue.

If you have any questions about how you might be able to help promote the survey, please reach out to Mallorie Manosh.

And, don’t forget, nominations are open for the 2019-2020 season. Help us find next year’s LifeChanger of the Year now!
