National Life is active in the community in many different ways, including as a corporate sponsor of a variety of different events.

Over the past week, we got some recognition for our generosity at events in both Vermont and Texas.

In the Dallas area, 10 of our employees attended the Rainbow Days 22nd annual Pot of Gold Luncheon.

Rainbow Days is a nonprofit that started out serving children with addiction problems and now also offers an array of alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention programs, along with family outings and other events.

In Vermont, National Life was again the title sponsor of the COTS Walk, an event that raises money for the largest homeless shelter in Burlington.

Hundreds of people turned out to walk the 3.5-mile route through Burlington that is designed to put supporters on the path that a homeless person might follow in a typical day.
