After 42 years of underwriting, 28 of them at National Life Group, Wayne Border has decided to retire. In a quiet going away gathering he was greeted with well wishes and hugs.
However, just because he is retiring doesn’t mean he is going to have lots of free time. He plans to replace the work time with volunteering at COTS, the food shelf and his church. Not to mention the very long honey-do list that his wife has been working on.
He is also very excited to be able to spend more time with his wife and grandchildren.
He has parting wisdom, though: “Do the golden rule as much as you can.’ He loves Mehran’s take on the Do Good, Be Good, Make Good.
From what he has planned in his retirement it looks like he will be living those values. We all wish him well!
