The waste sorting competition will have a separate category for the Dallas offices. The floors in Texas will battle for the top prize: a zero waste free food event for the floor. The winning floor in Texas will be determined by taking several bins at random from each floor on the day of the competition, which could be any weekday in July.
Feeling nervous about your floor in the competition? Here are a few quick tips for proper waste sorting (composting only applies in VT):
-Do Good to the recycling by keeping napkins, paper towels, and other soiled items in the trash
-Be Good sorters by keeping paper, bottles, and other recyclables out of the trash
-Make Good compost by putting only food scraps in the compost bin
