Scrag Mountain Music, an organization that National Life is proud to support, is seeking volunteers to assist them with their 10th anniversary season! They could use a few more people to round out their dedicated volunteer cohort.

Their main volunteer needs are at concerts – helping with ushering, greeting, and whatever else comes up.

Other interesting ways to get involved are to bring a dish to the founder and artistic director’s house (in Marshfield, VT) and have the chance to sit in on a rehearsal, picking up an artist from an airport, housing artists (if you happen to live near Marshfield), helping to hang up posters around Montpelier or other towns where you live, and more.

The first event of the season is right around the corner on Saturday, September 21st!  It’s a day-long celebration for Scrag’s 10th birthday that starts out with a Musical Scavenger Hunt of pop-ups in downtown Montpelier and ends with a birthday party concert at the Vermont College of Fine Arts in the evening. Scrag would definitely love some extra hands on deck for that and for postering leading, meals, airport runs, etc.
