Volunteer Opportunity at Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity

Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers for their Passive House Build in East Montpelier.

They are looking for volunteers for Mondays and Tuesdays  this February and March to help hang and screw wallboard.

There is space heating in the house, making it a comfortable work environment.

The work days will be from 9:00am-3:00pm. The location is 1248 RTE 2, East Montpelier. Coming from Montpelier, it is just before VT Country Campers on the right.

No experience is needed; you will be working under the instruction of site supervisors Bruce Landry of 5 Star Energy and/or Chris Miksic of Montpelier Construction.

Bring work gloves, warm hat, water and food and wear closed-toe shoes. Wearing layers, warm coat and bringing plenty of water and a warm beverage is highly encouraged.
Bring simple tools if you have them: knife, measuring tape, hammer, belts, pencil, earplugs and eye protection and other small site hand tools. If you don’t, tools and safety equipment are provided.

Email cvhfh.execdir@outlook.com or call Debbie Goodwin at 802-522-8611 to sign up and please forward this request to anyone who would be interested in joining the volunteer crew!
