Epilepsy Foundation of Vermont at the Champlain Valley Fair
The Epilepsy Foundation of Vermont is looking for volunteers to help at their booth at the Champlain Valley Fair.
The booth will be open from Friday, August 25 to Sunday, September 3rd. Volunteers are required to do a minimum five our shift to help sell raffle tickets between the hours of 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
All volunteers will receive a complimentary admission ticket to the fair, including parking.

North Texas Food Bank Distribution Center

Time: Two Shifts 9:00 -11:30 AM and 1:00 – 3:30 PM

Fourth Annual Harvest Fundraiser Benefiting the North Texas Food Bank

Oktoberfest- Texas
The town of Addison needs volunteers for Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest runs September 14th till the 17th this year.
Pre event volunteers are able to volunteer Monday, September 11th through Friday September 15th.
They can choose a 3 hour shift from 8 am-11 am, 11am-2pm, and 2pm-5pm.
All volunteers will receive a parking pass, a volunteer t-shirt, free admission to the event on the day they volunteer and free snacks and drinks during any/all volunteer shifts.
The deadline for this sign-up is August 23rd.

Retail for a Cause with the CVMC Auxiliary Bene-Fit Shop
The CVMC Auxiliary Bene-Fit Shop in Barre is seeking volunteers who enjoy interacting with the public.
Bene-Fit Shop volunteers provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers and process sales on the cash register.
100% of the net proceeds directly benefit CVMC Auxiliary projects including scholarships for local high school students as well as programs and equipment that can make a positive impact on the health and wellness of the community.
Volunteers are particularly needed on Thursdays and Fridays between 10:00 am-4:00 pm, and Saturdays between 9:00 am-2:00 pm.
A weekly commitment of 3 hours is preferred, but once or twice a month would also be helpful.
Perks include a complimentary meal for each shift, access to the CVMC fitness facility, and discounts at Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel.

Good Samaritan Haven- Vermont
Volunteers are needed for the First Annual Local Solutions To End Homelessness –
Local food, music, and craft beer to benefit Good Samaritan Haven.
Friday September 15th at the Vermont College of Fine Arts, Alumni Hall.
Good Samaritan Haven is Central Vermont’s only homeless shelter serving Washington, Lamoille, and Orange counties.
The organization operates an Emergency Shelter Program with thirty beds and a Seasonal Overflow Shelter with an additional fourteen beds.
The two shelters operate at, or near, capacity every night. All guests are provided with basic needs such as food, clothing, toiletries, and laundry.
Support services are also offered to help guests find employment and move to stable housing.
