All volunteers get a cool Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival shirt and the pride in knowing that they have helped at an event raises funds to support cancer survivors in our community.
If you’re looking to do good this Fall, volunteers are needed for the Children’s Room Barn Dance on Sunday, September 11th. Here are the details:
Time: Noon to 6:00 pm (event runs 2:00 to 5:00)
Location: 1601 Barnes Hill Rd, Waterbury Center, VT
Summary of the event/request for volunteers: Tasks Include:
Setting up games, food, tables and chairs
Directing cars into parking area
Helping with check in and ticket sales
Helping with games for ages 2 to 10
Cleaning up at the end includes breaking down tables and chairs and loading into trucks, taking down event tent, and bagging up trash.
