Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for more opportunities to do good? Check out the following events this Spring.

Vermont Granite Museum is looking for help with grounds cleanup   April 19th. They are in need of  20 to 30 volunteers for a total of  4 hours. Please contact MiChele Lathrop if you are interested.

VBSR’s 27th annual Spring Conference will be Wednesday, May 17th, and they are in need of   5-7 additional volunteers to assist with the conference in exchange for free admission, including meals.

Volunteers help with the following:

• Support with exhibitor load-in and set-up first thing in the morning (we arrive at 6AM)
• Attend 3 workshops to provide feedback on workshop quality and serve as a liaison to the presenter(s) (we try to pair volunteers with their preferences for topics)
• Assist with exhibitor load-out in the afternoon, wrapping up by 5 or 5:30pm
It’s a long day, but an opportunity to attend the conference for free, engage with VBSR and get priority parking!

Contact Russ Elek at 802-862-8347 ext 19, or email  Russe@vbsr.org if you are interested.

Volunteers are needed for The Taste Addison May 19-21st at Addison Circle Park.

Each volunteer will receive perks such as a parking pass, free admission, lunch/dinner/drinks/snacks during your volunteer shifts, and a volunteer t-shirt to wear and keep.

It is highly encouraged that anyone wanting to volunteer for the event make plans to attend the kickoff meeting to pick up your packet and receive an overview of all the event activities.

The meeting will be mandatory for all new event volunteers.

Many of the positions  needed will be front gate greeters and volunteers to hand stamp patrons for re-entry at our exit gates.

Chairs are provided for the exit gate positions and there will be some stools at the entrance gates as well.

Please contact Stacy Love at 972-450-2874 to sign up and to receive the volunteer application and the kickoff meeting details.

The deadline for registration is  April 26th.
