On May 11th, the Central Vermont Waste Management District is running the state’s very first mattress recycling collection. This is another exciting step in reducing our waste outputs and diverting re-usable materials from the landfill—but we need help to make it work.
Volunteers are needed to help on the day of the collection.
The Central Vermont Waste Management District is in need of people to help on Saturday, May 11 from 7 am-2 pm (partial availability works, too!).
Tasks may include directing traffic and lifting mattresses onto the truck that will transport them to the recycling facility.
