The Vermont Mountaineers are looking for host families that are interested in opening up their homes for a player during the summer season.

The team, who is sponsored by National Life, will be starting their summer season soon, and need help housing their players.

By opening up their homes for the season, families develop lifelong friendships and the chance to follow their players throughout their college years and beyond.

The host family commitment would be to house a player from early June through the beginning of August. The player should have their own room and would need some meals provided to them.

Players will provide their own transportation. Alternative housing can be provided while a host family is on vacation. The host family is given a family season’s pass for hosting a player as well as a free week of camp for each child in your family.

Other host families from previous years have stated that the biggest rewards include the bonding between players and family members, and knowing that they helped provide a quality living experience while the players are here in Vermont.

If you live near the Central Vermont area and have a spare bedroom,  the Vermont Mountaineers would love to hear from you!
