Over these past couple of weeks, volunteers on our Vermont campus teamed up to glean the last fruits and veggies of the season for families in need.

Gleaning is particularly important this time of year as there are many crops on trees and in fields that will go to waste if they are not gleaned in the next several weeks.  Community Harvest of Central Vermont works to be sure that gleaned food is given to schools and organizations where there is the greatest need.

Thanks, everyone, for helping to #dogoodfeedkids! You gleaned hundreds of pounds of food!

Gleaners included: Sarah VanBeck, Brenda Slayton, Sara Akers, Joshua Akers, Gabriela Balboa, Sam Reed, Julie Atwood, Manon Pudvah, Peter Diederich, Daniel Batten, Katy Rutkowski, Laurie Gauthier, Jasmine Beatty, Michelle Larose, Erika Farnham, Kristi Demers, and Gail Woods
