Think Zero Program Launched on Vermont Campus

National Life Group is excited to announce our commitment to divert all waste from the Montpelier campus to recycling and composting.

All the resources exist to make 0% waste a reality. All we need is your participation. Join us in making this happen as soon as possible by Thinking Zero.

You may have noticed the new collection bins in the main building freight elevator areas, marque conference rooms, and cafeteria. This is create a more streamlined and intuitive process for diverting waste.

We’re off to a great start. Current efforts divert all but 35% of our waste. We know we can do better and in the coming months we’ll identify items that can be improved and we’ll share tips and information you need to help us reach the 0% target.

Our recycling and composting programs will be a model for others to follow. We’ve set a high standard, but our employees are committed to making it a reality.

We hope you are excited by this opportunity as much as we are. We are counting on you to engage and motivate others.

Please share your ideas and assist others in understanding the process and importance of this new system. Along the way, we hope you’ll take the habits into your home life and share with all your family and friends.

Together, we are going to leave a better world for the next generation.
