As we’ve shared over the past few weeks, National Life is continuing to Do Good in the community.
From building and stocking a cupboard with nonperishable food in downtown Montpelier to funding nonprofits responding to the Covid-19 crisis, National Life is living its values.
And the people who are helping to deliver that assistance in the community appreciate it.
We wanted to share a little of what we’ve heard from them.
- “Capstone has prepared and delivered 29,000 meals since the COVID emergency began. Your contribution literally helps me sleep at night knowing you are with us on this journey and we have the ‘fuel’ to keep going.” Sue Minter, Executive Director, Capstone Community Action
- “It’s partners like National Life that give us hope during this extremely difficult time. Even though we are starting to see things reopen, we know that many families struggling with food insecurity have a long road ahead. Your generosity enables us to keep serving them – to keep the burden of feeding their families off their shoulders so they can focus on getting back on their feet.” Courtney Bagot, Director of Individual and Corporate Philanthropy, North Texas Food Bank
- “I thought you’d like to see the photo of the National Life truck in action at the VeggieVanGo at Berlin Elementary School. The number of attendees has doubled over the past month.” Allison Mindel, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Vermont Foodbank
- “Thank you so much for act of kindness! Family Center Staff were SO appreciative of the delicious lunch from the Langdon Street Tavern! National Life is such an amazing community partner!” Claire Kendall, Co-Executive Director, Family Center of Washington County
