The BIG team sure knows how to do good!
The Business Innovation Group (BIG) from both campuses teamed up to gather canned goods and other non perishable food items for the Vermont Foodbank and the North Texas Foodbank. Their goal was to collect 170 donations in honor of our 170th anniversary. They far exceeded their goal by collecting 232 food items between our two campuses, and, funnily enough, the Vermont donations weighed in at exactly 170 pounds!
The Vermont Foodbank is the largest anti-hunger organization in Vermont. Started in 1986, the Vermont Foodbank provides charitable food to more than 280 food shelves, meal sites, shelters, senior centers and after-school programs throughout Vermont.
The North Texas Foodbank distributes donated, purchased, and prepared foods through a network of nearly 1,000 feeding programs and 262 Partner Agencies in 13 North Texas counties.
BIG’s donations will surely have a BIG impact!
