Interns from our Texas campus along with a few team members who assist with the intern program volunteered at the Dallas Arboretum’s Children’s Garden this past Wednesday.
The stunning garden, a “Museum without Walls,” spans eight acres of lush, fragrant greenery filled with interactive exhibits.
The volunteers assisted the delightful children with a wide assortment of hands-on learning activities at ten different educational stations spread throughout the garden, teaching the children about renewable energy, earth cycles, gardening, and much more.
The Dallas Arboretum provided an incredible opportunity to Do Good and will hopefully be added as a regular placement for National Life volunteers.
