Renita Marshall, Executive Assistant in CIG, was recently named Remarkable Woman by Nexstar Media Group for her selfless support of our community.
Renita founded the Renita Marshall Helping Hands Foundation, which helps provide financial assistance to families with children who are experiencing an unexpected and temporary financial hardship. This includes things like presents at the holidays to a vacation for a family in which the father was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
After she was named our region’s Remarkable Woman, she traveled to Los Angeles where she joined 111 women from across the country who were celebrated for doing good in their communities. Cookie Johnson, Leeza Gibbons and Jennifer Hudson spoke at that event.
Said Renita, “It takes a village and I appreciate my village!”
For her commitment to families and children in Barre area, she received a $1000 donation which she put towards her Foundation.
Last month was dedicated to recognizing Administrative Professionals. We thank Renita for all she does not only in our community but also for National Life.
