Our friends in IT have done it again!

Earlier this week, two refurbished laptops as well as multiple monitors and other equipment, were donated to Vermont Works for Women, a local nonprofit that promotes economic justice by advancing gender equity and supporting women and youth throughout their career.

The equipment will be used to support a variety of programs including:

  • Vermont Works for Women’s Trailblazers, a training program to support the entry and success of women and gender-expansive individuals in construction and the trades. For participants, it is an opportunity to obtain or increase skills and certifications for jobs that are in high demand. For employers, it is a way to develop existing staff and identify new candidates to fill critical job openings.
  • Multiple Youth Programs that bring program computers to camps and events so that students can fill out evaluation forms in real time, saving on time and paper.
