It’s easier than ever to give back to your favorite nonprofits.
The campaign is open to all employees and retirees. You can choose to give to one, two, or three charities, and the National Life Foundation will match your donations up to $1,500.
Donations will be sent in January 2018 along with a letter to the nonprofit with your specific contribution.
The money will be taken through payroll deductions in 2018.

Throughout the campaign, we’ve been highlighting our teammates personal causes. For our last submission in the series, we were able to learn more about the nonprofit that David Soccodato supports.
Please explain why you chose the organization that you did, and share the personal connection you have with this organization.
Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT) is one of the oldest organic farming associations in the country.
It’s an association of growers and consumers who work to promote economically viable and ecologically sustainable food systems in greater Vermont.
Our family has worked on and donated to NOFA farms and initiatives for many years. Fundamentally, we feel that food is foundational to our ecosystem as a whole.
If our systems for growing food are set up well, it can nourish us; preserve the land and soils, which are so important to our broader environment; and provide decent livelihoods for the local economy. It is a cause we feel can affect everyone in some meaningful way.
We have chosen to give through the Community Giving Campaign because we think there is no better way to make a current donation to our cause. Our contributions are matched dollar for dollar, and the use of payroll deductions offers flexibility with the timing of contributions.
Coupled with the ability to choose almost any qualified charity, this program offers it all. I highly encourage anyone planning to make a charitable contribution of any kind in the upcoming year to take advantage of the Community Giving Campaign.
