We had some very impressive results on our Do Good coat and winter gear drive.
Laura Plourde headed up the campaign to collect decent cold weather clothes that we could donate to community nonprofits.
The clothes will then be distributed to the homeless and others who need it.
And how did we do? Well, once Laura and her team spread everything out on a conference room table in the compliance department, they came up with quite a list:
- 124 coats
- 52 sweaters, fleece jackets and sweatshirts
- 14 vests
- 2 snow suits
- 2 ski pants
- 23 pairs of socks
- 57 pairs of gloves
- 52 scarves
- 88 hats
- 13 head bands or warmers
- 1 set of leg warmers
- 21 pairs of boots
- 5 containers of hand sanitizer
- And 4 miscellaneous items
