We continue to receive thanks from the nonprofits where National Life’s Do Good volunteers have worked this fall.
We’ve had another record-breaking year in giving back to our communities. Through the end of November, National Life employees recorded 4,890.74 hours volunteering at nonprofits through our paid volunteer benefit. That’s more than we’ve ever had for an entire year.
This week we heard from Just Basics, which is the parent organization of the Montpelier Food Pantry and Feast, formerly known as the Montpelier Food Delivery Program.
As part of our fourth quarter volunteer initiative, we sent four National Life employees to help stuff, seal, stamp and hand-address Just Basics’ annual appeal letters.
“What a great bunch of people and volunteers,” wrote Jessica Sanderson, the Feast program manager. “National Life is lucky to have them and so were we.”
The National Life team consisted of Satyadeepthi Bandrupalli, Amanda Atwood, Juanita Plante and Steve Keene.
Keep up the good work.
