Spring has finally sprung, and in addition to cleaning out your homes, there is an opportunity to clean out your electronic clutter. NLIT is hosting its first Computer Donation Drive, and its fast approaching! Here are instructions on how to participate in this year’s Computer Donation Drive Week and E-Waste Event.
Computer Donation Drive:
1. Bring your devices to NLG to donate on May 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th, at the Donation Drive table located in the main lobby.
2. Fill out device description tag with your contact information
3. If your device requires data wiping, you will receive a confirmation email once it has been wiped.
4. All collected devices will be donated to local communities.
E-Waste Wednesday:
1. Bring your electronic waste and sensitive documents to NLG on May 3rd, to the front of the main entrance
2. Non-functioning devices and documents will be securely disposed
3. Non-functioning devices such as fax machines, computers, laptops, cell phones, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, photo copiers, and hard drives are acceptable to bring to this event.
