Several of our National Life Group employees attended the Spectrum Sleep Out on March 21st. Each year, over 500 people of all ages sleep outside overnight in solidarity with youth facing homelessness in Vermont—and 3,000 people and businesses donate to support them, including National Life.

There were not only sleeping bags on the ground, but ice too!

Spectrum, which offers skills programs, supportive housing and other services, hosted the Sleep Out at The First Unitarian Universalist Society in downtown Burlington, Vermont starting at 9:00 pm.

Despite the winter weather advisory and cold temperatures, our employees and several hundred others braved the cold temperatures to show their support for youth facing homelessness in Vermont.
