Nimesh Mehta, our Chief Information Officer, has been honored with a CIO Of the Year Award.
Nimesh was presented with an ORBIE by the Dallas CIO of the Year organization, representing the large enterprise category.
The presentation was made at an elaborate online ceremony that featured recorded interviews and live presentations.
Nimesh thanked National Life, among others, for giving him the opportunity to do work worthy of recognition among his peers.
Among the other finalists in Nimesh’s category were CIOs at Toyota Financial Services, Transplace, Caliber Collision, and Rent-a-Center.
CEO Mehran Assadi wrote a letter in support of Nimesh’s nomination, praising him for leading the transition from our two campuses to remote work last March.
“The success of the March transformation is one of the many reasons I strongly support Nimesh’s entry for CIO of the Year,” Mehran wrote. “It reflects Nimesh’s leadership in building out a secure and strong IT infrastructure as well as his ability to develop a team nimble enough to coordinate and execute the switchover.”
Congratulations to Nimesh!
